Sarah Oliver
Sarah Oliver was a research analyst at the Peterson Institute for International Economics from August 2013 to May 2016 and worked with Senior Fellow Caroline Freund on international trade.
Oliver received her master's degree in international affairs specializing in international economics from the School of International Relations and Pacific Studies (IR/PS) at the University of California, San Diego in 2013. Her research at IR/PS focused on international trade and resource allocation, specifically in Southeast Asia and the South China Sea. Previous work includes internships at the US-Asia Institute and the United States Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She received her Bachelor of Arts in international relations from Calvin College in 2011 and speaks both French and Mandarin Chinese.
