Yilin Wang
Yilin Wang joined the Peterson Institute for International Economics as a research analyst in July 2021. She works with Reginald Jones Senior Fellow Chad P. Bown on issues related to international trade law and institutions, trade negotiations, and trade disputes.
Before joining the Institute, Wang worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) where she coauthored a policy brief on the Chinese central bank's communication with markets. She also spent time at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in Shenzhen working as a research associate in the School of Management and Economics.
Wang completed her master's degree in international economics and China studies with a specialization in quantitative methods and economic theory at the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University. She received a bachelor's degree in both economics and international studies from Johns Hopkins University.
