Julien Maire has been a research analyst at the Peterson Institute for International Economics since November 2019. He works with C. Fred Bergsten Senior Fellow Olivier Blanchard on issues related to macroeconomic policy. Previously, he worked as a research assistant at the World Bank on the World Development Report 2020, focusing on the macroeconomic implications of global value chains. He also interned at Cour des Comptes, France’s supreme audit institution.
Maire graduated from Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay and holds a master’s degree in economics from Ecole Polytechnique, ENSAE and HEC Paris.
