Julien Maire
Julien Maire was a research analyst at the Peterson Institute for International Economics from November 2019 through October 2020. He worked with C. Fred Bergsten Senior Fellow Olivier Blanchard on issues related to macroeconomic policy. Previously, he worked as a research assistant at the World Bank on the World Development Report 2020, focusing on the macroeconomic implications of global value chains. He also interned at Cour des Comptes, France’s supreme audit institution.
Maire graduated from Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay and holds a master’s degree in economics from Ecole Polytechnique, ENSAE, and HEC Paris.
