Owen Hauck
Owen Hauck was a research analyst at the Peterson Institute for International Economics from July 2015 to May 2017. Hauck worked with Senior Fellows Joseph E. Gagnon and Jeromin Zettelmeyer on topics related to international finance, monetary policy, economic governance, and the European Union. He has experience in economic analysis from internships with the international affairs division of the US Treasury Department, the agricultural affairs and commodity policy section of the Office of the US Trade Representative, and the Grassroots Business Fund. He received his master's degree in international economics from American University's School of International Service in 2015, where he focused on political economy and econometrics. He received his bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Western Washington University in 2012.
