Colombe Ladreit de Lacharrière
Colombe Ladreit de Lacharrière was a research analyst at the Peterson Institute for International Economics from August 2016 to July 2018. She worked with C. Fred Bergsten Senior Fellow Olivier Blanchard and PIIE President Adam S. Posen on various macroeconomic issues, notably monetary policy, exchange rates, and international capital flows. Prior to that, Ladreit de Lacharrière worked in the Department of Economic Affairs and Treasury of the French Embassy in Washington, DC. She also interned at the European Central Bank in the Market Operations Directorate as well as in the Department of Economic and Social Affairs at the United Nations. She received a bachelor’s degree in international economics and development from Paris Dauphine University (France) in July 2012, a master’s degree in political science from the University of Warwick (United Kingdom) in 2013, and a second master’s degree in economic analysis from the Pompeu Fabra University (Spain) in 2014.
