In recent years, the global economy has undergone the most pronounced inflationary episode in decades. Containing inflation necessitated a forceful monetary policy response. In this context, several central banks have undertaken—or are in the process of undertaking—reviews of their monetary policy frameworks, incorporating lessons learned from this period.
