When I loaded my CDs into Itunes, I noticed that somehow the Dead Kennedys’ “Holiday in Cambodia” came out as “Holiday in China.” I ascribed it to the black humor of the lowly paid Chinese tech coding the catalog.
Well, maybe in the next version of Itunes it will come out as “Holiday in North Korea.” London-based “Political Tours” has teamed up with Koryo Tours to produce a 2,350 euro 12 day excursion to the reclusive kingdom led by former British ambassador James Hoare. From the website it looks like they skip Mount Kumgang and escape the Wrath of Haggard.
The company has previously brought their “revolutionary concept” to tours of Bosnia, Kosovo, Georgia (the country, not the state), Northern Ireland (aka the north of Ireland), Ethiopia, and other hot spots. (What no Eritrea? Hey, I‘ll be the tour guide on that one.)
Anyway, although it is too late to include it in their personal soundtrack for the tour, through miracle of You Tube we send out this salute to Amb. Hoare and the "revolutionary" folks over at Political Tours…
