TPP and the Environment

The Trans-Pacific Partnership, or TPP, is an ambitious trade deal involving the United States and 11 other countries. The agreement will open new markets to trade and investment, but it also includes new rules in several important areas where critics have concerns. Some say it does not adequately protect the environment. But the TPP is actually the most environmentally-friendly trade deal ever negotiated.
