Adam Posen: Political Economy Constraints Limit Solutions to Low Productivity Growth

Speaking at a PIIE event for the release of the book Facing Up to Low Productivity Growth, Posen declared that solving the problem of low productivity requires more than refining economic rules and regulations. A major concern, however, is the failure of the publics in the United States and abroad to face up to the realities of climate change, low productivity, and other problems, which future research projects at PIIE will tackle.
