WASHINGTON—The Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE) is pleased to announce that Nell Henderson, former economics editor for The Wall Street Journal, joined the Institute as vice president for publishing on August 12, 2024. In this capacity, Henderson will work closely with PIIE scholars and leadership while serving as the primary manager and editor of the Institute's written content and communications on all platforms, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of excellence, timeliness, and strength of messaging.
Henderson also previously worked as the economics editor and national economics reporter for the Washington Post and as a senior editor at McKinsey & Co.

"We are thrilled to have Nell Henderson join the Institute team. Through her extensive experience in journalism covering key economic sectors, Nell will bring an invaluable perspective to our publishing process," PIIE president Adam S. Posen said.
Henderson earned a B.A. at Harvard University and a diploma in economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science. As a Fulbright Lecturer, she taught economic journalism to university students and professionals in Peru and Bolivia.
