Julien Acalin
Julien Acalin was a research analyst at the Peterson Institute for International Economics from October 2015 to June 2017. He worked with C. Fred Bergsten Senior Fellow Olivier Blanchard on various macroeconomic issues. His prior work experience included an internship at the International Monetary Fund, where he worked in the Systemic Issues Division and conducted research on financial repression, and positions at the French Central Bank and the French Treasury. He received a master’s degree in international economics and development from Paris Dauphine University in June 2014, and a second master’s degree from HEC Paris in managerial and financial economics. He is a native speaker of French and is fluent in Spanish.
