Jing Yan
Jing Yan was a research analyst at the Peterson Institute for International Economics from September 2023 to July 2026. She worked with Reginald Jones Senior Fellow Chad P. Bown and Anthony M. Solomon Senior Fellow Mary E. Lovely on issues related to international trade.
Before her role at the Institute, Yan contributed as a graduate consultant to the development of solutions for Sudan's National Cash Transfer Program, a World Bank project. Additionally, her professional journey encompasses internships with EY-Parthenon and the China Global Philanthropy Institute.
Yan holds a master's degree in international economics and finance and Asia studies at the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University. She received her bachelor's degree in management from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing.
She has native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and is proficient in Japanese.
