Harris Eppsteiner
Harris Eppsteiner was a research analyst at the Peterson Institute for International Economics during January–July 2017. He worked with Senior Fellow Jason Furman on a wide range of macroeconomic and microeconomic issues. Prior to joining PIIE, Eppsteiner served as special assistant to the chairman and research economist at the White House Council of Economic Advisers, where he focused on labor markets and immigration policy. He was also a research analyst at the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Eppsteiner received a bachelor’s degree in ethics, politics, and economics from Yale University in 2012.
