The Peterson Institute for International Economics hosts the US launch of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development's (OECD) 2023 Going for Growth report on October 23, 2023.
The OECD report focuses on policy reforms to accelerate the transition to a green economy while avoiding fragmentation of the world's trading system. These reforms include policies to spur green investment and the decarbonization of the economy, and policies to address the risks of disruptions to global value chains without eroding efficiency gains.
Adam S. Posen, PIIE president, gives welcoming remarks, and Luiz de Mello, director of the Policy Studies Branch at the OECD economics department, provides opening remarks.
