Event Summary

Adam S. Posen delivered the 2019 Data Analytics for Finance and Macro (DAFM) Annual Lecture at the DAFM Research Centre at King’s Business School in London.

Drawing on collaborative work at PIIE and with official sector researchers, Posen explored in his lecture the interplay of trade policy and macroeconomic policy and their impact on economic growth. He examined the US-China tariff war and its global consequences, and assessed the ramifications of the new trade landscape that will emerge as a result of Brexit, the United Kingdom’s exit from the European Union.
