Last August, we reported on the fascinating entity that is the Songdowon International Youth Summer Camp. Located in Wonsan, it has been active for almost three decades. What's fascinating is not that North Korea has a summer camp, but that International youth actually seem to go to it.
Justin Rohrlich, writing for NK News, has published an update on the camp. In his post, he manages to track down a former camper. Valentina Boltacheva of far-eastern Russia attended the camp when she was 14. In his post, she describes her experience at the camp.
