Support Human Rights in North Korea

Dear Colleague:

The most comprehensive accounting of North Korean human rights abuses was recently compiled in a year-long Commission of Inquiry into the systematic abuses by the Kim regime.  As one finding in the report notes, North Korea “has for decades pursued policies involving crimes that shock the conscience of humanity.”  The report also recommends that these crimes be referred to the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity.

Please join us for a meeting with NGO leaders on Wednesday, March 5 at 3 pm in 2255 Rayburn House Office Building on Capitol Hill to discuss next steps following the report.

Representatives from the Committee for Human Rights in North Korea, the Federation of Korean Associations, Human Rights Watch and the North Korea Freedom Coalition will participate.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

Thanks,

Hunter Strupp
