In the wake of the agreement, everyone is naturally plying President Park with advice about what she should do. At Joongang Ilbo, Stephan Haggard joins the crowd by suggesting that the South needs to think not only about what it can provide, but plausible asks as well. The upcoming--and extraordinarily modest--family visits is a starting point, but should open onto a wider agenda including conventional military forces, commercializing economic exchanges, and expanding social contacts by providing freer rein for NGOs.
