Anjali V. Bhatt

Anjali V. Bhatt is the communications manager and a research fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, which she joined in September 2018. She manages the Institute's social media platforms and supports PIIE's email newsletters and other digital communication initiatives. She is also host of PIIE Insider LIVE, a series of live chats with PIIE experts.

Bhatt earned a Master of Advanced Studies in international affairs at the University of California, San Diego. She was the 2023 economics expert in the independent nonprofit organization Young Professionals in Foreign Policy Rising Experts writing fellowship program.

Prior to joining the Institute, Bhatt completed a dual degree program between Sciences Po (Institut d'études politiques de Paris) and the University of British Columbia, earning a Bachelor of Arts in economics and a Bachelor of Commerce in marketing, respectively.
