Ariyasuren Baldansenge
Ariyasuren Baldansenge, statistical analyst, joined the Peterson Institute for International Economics in January 2025. She is responsible for ensuring data quality and advising on data and statistics used in the Institute's publications.
Prior to joining the Institute, Ariyasuren worked as an economist at the Central Bank of Mongolia, where she was responsible for economic analysis and forecasting, contributing to over 30 monetary policy decisions.
She interned with the Financial Market Development Team at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, where she conducted the calculation of the financial market development index for the EBRD's countries of operation.
Ariyasuren earned her master's degree from the Harvard Kennedy School and received her bachelor's degree in economics from the National University of Mongolia.
