Michele Savini Zangrandi

Michele Savini Zangrandi was a visiting research analyst November–December 2019 working with Visiting Fellow Claudia Biancotti. Michele is an economist at the International Relations and Economics Department of the Bank of Italy. His interests include financial innovation, digital currencies, and economic security.

Prior to joining the Bank of Italy, Michele worked at the Italian Parliamentary Budget Office, the World Bank, and the International Growth Centre, and was a fellow at the Overseas Development Institute. Michele holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from the University College London and is fluent in Italian, Spanish, and French.
