Hexuan Li
Hexuan Li was a research analyst at the Peterson Institute for International Economics from September 2019 to July 2021. She worked with Reginald Jones Senior Fellow Chad P. Bown on issues related to international trade policy.
Before joining the Institute, Li interned at the Brookings Institution in the Global Economy and Development Program and conducted research on public administrative and economic performance in Africa. She also worked as a graduate research assistant on China’s trade, foreign direct investment, and foreign aid at the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University, where she also served as a graduate teaching assistant on macroeconomics.
She received a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University in 2019 and a bachelor’s degree of engineering in information system management from Renmin University of China in 2015. She is fluent in English and a native speaker of Chinese.
