Jeffrey E. Garten, dean emeritus at the Yale School of Management, discussed his new book, Three Days at Camp David: How a Secret Meeting in 1971 Transformed the Global Economy . The book focuses on the US departure from the Bretton Woods system. C. Fred Bergsten, PIIE director emeritus, and Kathryn M. Dominguez, professor of public policy and economics and director of the Economics Department Honors Program, University of Michigan, joined the discussion to offer their insights.
