Event Summary
Moody's Investors Service and the Peterson Institute for International Economics held their seventh joint event, a conference in Dubai, to discuss sovereign vulnerability to global energy developments.
The event was hosted by Lúcio Vinhas de Souza, managing director and sovereign chief economist of the Sovereign Risk Group at Moody's Investors Service.
The speakers presented their perspectives on:
- the implications of recent energy markets developments for sovereign vulnerability,
- economic developments in the wider Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and
