Event Summary
Following his return from the meeting of the G-20 Finance Ministerial, Nathan Sheets, US Treasury Under Secretary for International Affairs, provided his perspective on the global economy at an event held February 19, 2015, at the Peterson Institute for International Economics.
Sheets has held his current position since September 2014. Prior to joining Treasury, he was global head of international economics at Citigroup, following a distinguished career of 18 years at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, including as director of the division of international finance from 2007 to 2011. From 2006 to 2007, he served as senior advisor to the US executive director of the International Monetary Fund.
