The outlook for inflation

The elevated inflation dynamics we are experiencing are very different from conditions in the months before the pandemic. The Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE) hosted Raphael Bostic, president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, to discuss the extraordinary inflationary environment of recent months and share his thinking about monetary policy in such an environment.
