Korea's monetary policy amid an accelerated global monetary tightening

The Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE) hosted Changyong Rhee, governor of the Bank of Korea.

Governor Rhee gave a briefing on the Bank of Korea’s monetary policy actions since the first interest rate hike last year and delved into October’s monetary policy decision that comes amid an accelerated global monetary tightening cycle. He also commented on recent lessons learned from work on the Integrated Policy Framework and forward guidance.
