In 2020, G20 leaders identified cross-border payments as an area in need of internationally coordinated reform to reduce costs, delays, and risks. Two years on, participants will assess the collective policy effort led by the Committee on Payments and Market Infrastructures (CPMI) at the Basel-based Bank for International Settlements.
