The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision is among the most important financial standard setters at the global level. Its work in the 2010s was dominated by the overhaul of capital and other requirements on banks, known as Basel III, which is now being implemented in individual jurisdictions. Participants in this session of the PIIE event series Financial Statements discuss the current agenda and next projects for the Committee.
