  • Alejandro Werner, PIIE nonresident senior fellow, will address the economic outlook for Latin America, detailing short-term monetary and fiscal policy choices, electoral risk in some countries, and medium-term growth challenges and opportunities. 
  • Arvind Subramanian, PIIE senior fellow, will discuss recent developments in the Indian economy, explaining the debate over the quality and reliability of the country's growth data and its crucial role in assessing whether the economy is surging or decelerating.
