Upcoming Events on North Korea in Seoul

Body

The North Korea Strategy Center (NKSC) is a Seoul-based NGO working to promote democratization and human rights in North Korea. As part of their effort to raise awareness of pressing issues in the country, NKSC is hosting a free English-language series entitled “Strategies for Change: A Speaker Series on North Korea” (Facebook page here) in Seoul.

We are a bit late to mention that NKSC just hosted a film screening this Friday for “Kimjongillia”, along with a Q&A with former North Korean dancer Kim Young-sun. However, you still have time to sign up for an April 30th talk with Ms. Joanna Hosaniak of NKHR on the international community's role in improving the North Korean human rights situation. See the flier appended below for all necessary information.

Additionally, on May 7th mark your calendars for a lecture from Sokeel Park of Liberty in North Korea (LiNK), who will discuss North Korea's bottom-up transformation and ways the outside world can speed up these changes.
