View allOur friend Dan Pinkston in Seoul has forwarded us the link to an extraordinary collection of some of the Korean war photos of Werner Bischof. Bischof worked for Magnum, a Paris-based photojournalists collective that included the likes of Henri Cartier-Bresson and Robert Capa. A strong theme running through Bischof’s work is the human devastation of war and poverty. He died in an automobile accident in Peru in 1954 at the age of 38.
