Senior Policy Officer, The Elders Foundation
The Elders are an independent group of eminent global leaders, brought together by Nelson Mandela, who offer their collective influence and experience to support peace building, help address major causes of human suffering and promote the shared interests of humanity (www.theElders.org).
We are looking for a Senior Policy Officer to help develop and implement the Elders’ work programme on policy, outreach and advocacy on several of the Elders’ peace-building and thematic initiatives. The successful candidate will report to the Policy and Advocacy Director. Responsibilities may include supervision of interns and external consultants. He or she is expected to work collegially with the Elders’ team.
Applicants should have an affinity with The Elders’ mission and considerable experience in policy work, from research to implementation, preferably in an international setting. This position is based in London.
