The Peterson Institute for International Economics, a leading think tank located at Dupont Circle, in Washington, DC, seeks a full-time research analyst to work with Dr. Marcus Noland, executive vice president and director of studies, on research projects relating to gender diversity in corporate leadership, international trade, and North Korea.
Responsibilities include gathering information related to these issues, and also collecting, cleaning, and analyzing economic data, including the estimation of econometric models. Responsibilities also include producing charts and graphs for publication and presentations, and taking notes at meetings and conferences.
The applicant should be a self-starter with a solid understanding of international economics and econometrics, with a record of attention to detail. Proficiency in Stata is required, and knowledge of Python and SQL is preferred. Korean language is a plus.
