PIIE projects global economy poised for soft landing

After growing 3.4 percent in 2022, the global economy is projected to expand 3 percent in 2023 and 2.8 percent in 2024, making a soft landing likely but not assured, Karen Dynan reports at the PIIE Global Economic Prospects: Fall 2023 event.

People in Lima, Peru go about their business in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic. Some 2.7 million companies in Peru, Colombia, Chile, Brazil and Mexico have had to close their doors due to the health crisis.
