You Say it’s Your Birthday, It’s Kim Jong Il’s Birthday Too

Today marks what would likely be Kim Jong Il’s 72nd birthday (71st according to North Korean biographers).  The day is known as ‘The Day of the Shining Star’ in North Korea and is accompanied with many different celebrations.  Some of the celebrations are displayed below through images available through KCNA.
