Update: The “We begin bombing in five minutes” contest
by Alex Melton | February 11th, 2013 | 04:25 pmWith rumors of a new North Korean nuclear test reaching a fever pitch, we thought we would remind readers of the ongoing “We Begin Bombing in Five Minutes” contest. Check out the original post from last April and place your prediction in the comments. The winner will receive an autographed copy of Witness to Transformation. One entry per reader please.

I bet it happened at 4:57 PM Hawaii time on February 11th.

Roland, you can expect to be a witness to many transformations here. The April entries are still included in the contest. We just gave people another shot to enter.

The test occurred at 9:57 pm ET on Monday (Feb 11) and 11:57 am Tuesday Seoul time (Feb 12). The winner will be officially announced later, but it looks like Julia Lee is the closest.

Hey! It seems this contest has witnessed some weired rule transformation!:) What about the original post from April? Nr. 4, that’s me. Still half a year off the mark (13 Sep 2012) but still closest I guess. That’s not fair!;)

11 AM Korea time on 13 Feb, which would be 9 PM of the 12th on the east coast in the US: just as Obama is starting his state of the union speech!
